Abandoned Memory Smoke Poem by Terence George Craddock

Abandoned Memory Smoke

Rating: 5.0

too many memories
like rotten fruit
hang from old trees

in this tired out river town
too many houses have fallen
into disrepair rough neglect

paint flakes
tin roofs rust
gardens in weeds choke

ghosts in old castles
ghosts in old houses
ghosts in memories haunting
