'Abandon' - Poem by Shania K. Younce

A forest had ruled the land of Fend.
For the forest had ruled for a thousand fort nights.
For had stayed and lived.
For appeared a spirit.
It was the spirit of the forest.
The spirit of the forest had been called upon by a child.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I can't remember the rest of my poem. The word abandon is french. The title translation of Abandon is: relinquishment, dereliction, destition, and at random. I'll try to remember the rest of my poem. Please comment at will and with honesty.
