Aaron Poem by Jason Jinsung Lee

Aaron

Rating: 5.0

Oh, my beloved cousin
How dear you are to me
Although I might not show it
You fill me up with glee (no homo)

And in my times of sorrow
You're always next to me
In my times of burden
Your kind words set me free

The hope I have in you
It calms the raging storm
The loving hand you give
It makes my heart feel warm

And in my time of sadness
You consider thoughtfully
How to cheer me onward
With no dishonesty

For this I am grateful
Believe me, it's true
For this I feel rested
And that's why I love you

But...

Sometimes things go wrong
And the darkness within
Seems to prevail
Forgive me,
Aaron
