Aargh!
Bruised.
Bones ill-touched
and dreams
ill-played to puzzles.
Stoical in the spirits, chilled;
in their hopeless hungers.
Faithful in their endless hopes and
bleeding out of rescue.
Victimized,
thus.

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
Maya Angelou

I had a physical feeling to this poem...a sting up my spine sort of like when you hold something cold for too long. This is great poetry. A work to be proud of!
straight to the point yet leaving no stone unturned
this is poetry
So little, but so penetrating. just like the time to face with faith or faithlessness. a burn, always a sensation of burn keep us alive in such a century. Run long poet.
