A Wordprint Of Silence Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

A Wordprint Of Silence

It dwelled too long
In mountain springs
Where ice frozen wings
Shivered within a song

The ice broke free
The knives cut Muse
All we could see
Where ice cut loose

Were scratches of whispers
Cutting through a stone
Hear the bolts of thunder
Unbearable groan

They set fire on ice a pain to melt
Burdens of water to wash the earth
And ice bird created to give a birth
Spilled the first and the last letter spelled
