A Word Of Advice Poem by Jack Worthington

A Word Of Advice

Rating: 5.0

Whatever you do, don't believe in yourself
They say this is the key to happiness and wealth
But if you tread this path, or ease into this warm bath,
The fates will turn their heads and laugh.

He who believes in himself has no time to believe in you
All that's left in his heart is residue
For if we all believed in each other
We could walk the earth as brothers.
