A Wish Poem by Jakub Dryja

A Wish

Rating: 5.0

To take the profane
and acclaim it the sacred

to fall in pain
and resurrect in glory

to steal the commonness
and hail it magnificent

or even more

to resign from illusions
and disenchant the life

to simplify the complexity
and abandon the attachment

to lose yourself
and melt in nothingness

or even more

to surrender with no sorrow
to indulge in truth with no interest
to die and live again
again
again
