A Wish Poem by Ray Hansell

A Wish

At night
The moons glow
Lights the earth
Like flood lights
The stars shine
Across a darkened sky
You and I
Lay on a blanket
Beneath the beauty
That spans above us
We watch a falling star
We both make a wish
A wish neither one of us will share
But a wish that we hope
One day will come true
