A Wish Poem by Chris Townsend

A Wish

I can see a cool calm exterior of a man,
I can feel, all these pin points, times for a plan,
I can see the road, as its laid out before,
I can feel, all the goals, my personal tally score,
Quiet green lucious fields of grass,
I dont have to question, natures second guess,
A quiet moment, me and someone who knows,
All the embittered moments, the way it goes,
Still I want to hold, this precious gem, this person for whom I would die,
I want to see, all the things, the things that to no one, she will confide,
All the secrets maybe a told you so,
You must be able to tell, you know,
I hold onto this ride, this throw me around,
I hold on tight, no breath for a sound,
Crimson dusk, a very quiet dawn
With this person by my side, peace, a quiet fawn,
A new begining a tied me over till the end,
A quiet kiss, an all the secrets to find,
Maybe we should cry for two,
Maybe its just the me and you,
Celebrate this moment we can share,
And I will blow you a kiss to show you I care,
As the peace of dusk, closes to the floor,
I want a quiet moment, our emotions to soar,
I want you to see, within this exterior of a man,
You, my love, my gold medal, my fan,
