A Whispered Voice Poem by Walter C. Edwards

A Whispered Voice

Why do you go away,
from such a touching hand,
where do butterfly's land,
I ask in a whispered voice,
to afraid to glance,
the storm that lurks with in your heart,
beckons me by your side,
no fear for me dear to hide,
away from such loving eyes.
