A Walk Through My Memory Lane Poem by Govind S Harigovindam

A Walk Through My Memory Lane

Down went I through my memory lane and came face to face with my old times.

Some gushed into my mind like an evening breeze and left me with a most pleasant smile.

Some came in with gruesome force and re-winded the old chapters of mishaps and made me wish that I could have changed the course of how things had unfolded.

Some cost me a feet or two to walk, but repaid me by
taking me to those moments worth reminiscing again and again!

Some buzzed in my mind like bees on spring duty and wound me up at a pensive state.

Like iron left out to rust, my memories were near to its demise but a quick stroll of reminiscence was all that it took for my memories to alter its fate.
