A Walk Poem by Ila Sumam

A Walk

Rating: 4.8

Sun's chrome rays
Wash my morning face
Parting it's ways
Through tamarind lace

Dancing mist sliver
Like spider web river
On the grass's quiver
And still I don't shiver!

The shy sky - fawn
With butter white crown
An artist up at dawn
Painting on her, on....

Foliage under my feet
Does a brief tete'-a-tete'
With my heals that speak
Of love to the earth beneath

A bright pigeon pair
Whispers wind on my hair
As if there's no time to spare
They Quickly declare

Ah! What a beauty life is!
