*a Waiting Game!

Rating: 5.0

A WAITING GAME!

From the mother’s womb till the grave,
Our life is just simply one long wait!
You wait in the darkness to see the light,
Through your mother’s groans and delight!
You wait for the school bus and graduation
degree,
A momentary illusion of being free!
You wait to stabilize with a secured life,
To start a family with a loving wife!
Some wait to make a fresh new start,
Planning a life like some work of art!
You wait for the value of shares to rise,
The fiscal melt down gives you a suprise!
You wait for news of your family and
friends;
For the New Year to come as the old year
ends!
And when you pause to review your past,
Life seems to have flown by rather fast!
You wait with patience to meet the Lord,
That world of light way beyond!
Then, perhaps a long spell of countless years ……..
As some souls wait for rebirth with trepidation
and fears!
Only Moksha can save us from this wait,
But Moksha and Nirvana is in destiny and
fate! *

Wait... Its such a beautiful concept Its the concept of Hope... Each line in this poem Dipicts the Hope of each stage in life. On who has no wait in his pocket Has lost the way ahead, stagnent And the ultimate is to wait and meet HIM. Wonderful concept. A subject to readers to ponder over.

its a wonderful poem expressing that we always postpone being happy waiting for that perfect moment. about man being the creator of destiny and fate i am sceptical, unless the implication is we get what we sow, may be in our past births at times i feel there is a lot of truth in Man proposes and God disposes, for all the strings are in his hand, despite giving us free will.a lot remains inexplicable but Raj, all said, your philosophical mind has poured out in these poetic lines- wonder that life is... 10

just the other day, a learned lady tells me...it's as simple as this, she tells me, just as u quickly attend to what u decide to before you slept, so it's with death and birth...something of sanchita karma? what will decide our moksha, none to tell us!
