A Void Left Uncertain Poem by James Darwin Smith II

A Void Left Uncertain

A void left uncertain
Uncut paradox illustration
Fasting in a full world
The stomach of morality

Never malicious damage
Of otherwise devotion
Pained by typical fashion
And the redundant buying
Of false Prophets Worth

Damage done
Shattered dreams
Shards all flock
Wishing for a cure
From that for which
Alienates them all

Ugliness felt deeply
Inside the rabbit hole of wounded dreams
Crying down below
A storm brewing, without rational dwellings

Silence all around
The quietness of positive winds apparent
The coronation of manmade royalty
Subservient minds bullying through common sense

Everyone laughs in celebration
Introvert eyes cry in desertion
Drying up into lost dreams
Stuck in the middle of a deadened valley of confusion

Smile wide!
And take it all in on command
Everything will be worth others worthwhile
As long as purity stays damned

Was it worth the while?
Asked by nature
Of where my heart is now

A void left burdened
As mythos remains brooding

Where does everything go from here?
Hope never has to die

Where does everything go from here?
