A Voice Poem by Ali Ahmad Said Esber

A Voice

Rating: 4.3

Mihyar is a face
betrayed by its lovers
Mihyar is bells
line in the middle here
without chinning
Mihyar is inscribed upon the faces,
a song which visits us secretly
on white, exiled roads.
Mihyar is bells of wanderers
in this Galilean land
