A Vision To Hold Poem by Robert Dummett

A Vision To Hold

Rating: 5.0

Through a vapour of tears he fixed his
Eyes on me and watered those desert years,
Years that cloaked years in untold mystery,
To prise my soul from the web of time;
And over the gap of pain a father's love falls,
Bridging hearts broken in a sleep -
A sleep that slips eternity....
Behind the great curtain call.
