A Vine That Tangles Thee Poem by Elisha De La Rosa

A Vine That Tangles Thee

Trap in the vine that tangles thee
The vine's thorns wrapped around my arm till it bleeds
A lovely rose I have decieved
For her garden has captured me

Slowly my blood seeps throught this vine
Like a river stop slowly by a dam
Surely my life will be on the line
I must escape the rose garden that I have rammed

How I couldn't feel this aura?
Before I enter this rose garden
If I get out of here I may suffer insomia
Because I won't be waking from this nightmare

A vine that tangles thee
This vine that holds me
Why would I be punished
For a task I haven't finished yet

Is my rose punishing me
The vines that holds me for something that happened
For she is sadden by me
Her poor broken heart has blackened

This is dark, it reminds me of a dying love that is unwilling to end...
