A Village Boy Poem by Shree Parno

A Village Boy

I am not a city man of shady power
I have not an artificial voice I don't love to make a capital matter
And I don't want to make a giant chaos.
So here is a little voice -
That I am not a machine
I remain a life with mind thought and ethics.
Truly I am not an inanimate object,
I am a village boy of barren soil
But want to be a man of sensible.
Please don't cast malign
Please don't made inane.
I am a candid boy,
I rarely dreamed with natural joy
I would like to see the blue sky
I like to draw my eyesight in high
From childhood I am living with a big candle -
And surrounding with some rising bauble
I am a village boy…
I am also a candid boy.
