A View At Rheinfall Poem by Martin Swords

A View At Rheinfall

Rating: 2.9

At the Rheinfall.

Be happy. Don’t be
Concerned with correct.
Be happy. Let it flow.
Give happy. And receive.

Look at the river rushing.
Its vibrant, pounding
passion moving fast.
Is this the river's youth?

Life is Rheinfalling away,
Soon there will be little time.
Soon we will be far downstream,
Drifting on the quiet waters

Like two Autumn leafs
Far beyond the falls.
Happy, remembering
The Rheinfalls of our life

A lovely observation of a river's different rates of flow, and likening this one to a fast and youthful rush has the reader's interest from your opening lines Martin. I loved the wise advice to 'give happy' as well as receive, as the flowing river was just then - lovely picture here. thank you
