You ask for forgiveness
What is there to forgive
Because you bare your heart
I listen and hope
That maybe our friendship
Is a special relationship
Being together is like a dream
Even though our time is so short
It's what is felt in that time
That really counts
Eyes meet in special contact
To look away and return
To understand the meaning
That passed between
