A Valentine Poem Poem by David Harris

A Valentine Poem

Rating: 4.5

We search the whole world over
trying to find a pure heart there.
Someone who will reach out
with some tender care.
Sometimes we find more than one there.
To all the wonderful ladies
who share a little of my life
this Valentine poem comes to you
to say God Bless
and I love you all.
Have Happy Valentines Day.

actually there is a thin line between love and friendship. when we are young, we are more comfortable with our friends to talk about our inner feelings and callings than talk to our parents and relatives. When I read this poem for the first time, I was shocked and imagined a person who sent this message to all those whom he slept with, but when I read it again and again, i realized from a Hindu point of view, that this persona extends his gratitude to those who are so special to him to the extend of sharing a little bit of him, which means he could have shared his sorrowful thoughts, worries, sometimes happiness, sought some help and many other aspects from the ladies.. If this poem is all about flesh, I will certainly give a Big O. As it is published in poem hunter, a reliable literary contributor, I take this poem positively and rate it to have 10

Valentine's Day! Everyone is talking about love in February! February is the month of St. Valentine's Day, Which is celebrated in memory of that saint, Who sacrificed his life for the union of lovers! Every religion preaches about love for best life! Love is selfless act of empathy for others feeling Not an easy job to practise in real life in the world! So, lovers are warned against pitfalls in real life. When this is so, who can practise love in the world? One who is strong, brave, capable of standing on One's own leg only can practise love to support the Beloved through thick and thin in life till the end...! Other romantic loiterers can only send gifts, greetings And spend happy time in celebrating St. Valentine Day!
