A Valentine Of Dream Poem by Gautam Sen

A Valentine Of Dream

The sweetness of fragrance evaporated
leaving my soul abandoned;
with your demise
abundance in my life is lost forever,
since then every valentine weeps for you.

Your invisible vista around me
engulfs me in flames of fervor.
An obscure desire grows within
while my wisdom sleeps,
letting me live in a make-believe world
for a sweet come back of my lost love.

I reminisce each golden moment
of your stunning stares,
need your loving whispers
resuscitate me from dying
in a loveless forlorn state;
luring me to meander through
the meadows of the past.

Shower me love for the great day
showing up with its eternal glory,
the love that swells my heart with waves
of many unspoken words in my soul;
let them find the ethereal shore -
there you wait until my Pegasus arrives.
Climb down you must on its back
to fill my vacant valentine.

Let the sweetness of fragrance refill life
with elegance of heavenly glee.
The bliss of our love be reborn to rejoice,
abundance in life be redeemed with luster;
I'm dreaming for a valiant attempt from you –
to be with me this Valentine Day.
