A Universal Language Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

A Universal Language

Knowledge is to share,
Friends are there to care,
With a smile on your face
Participate in the race,
Win or lose, who's gonna choose,
In the end everyone's gonna pose
For a group picture and that's of some use,
There's something right under your nose
That could make everyone feel glad
Even if they were for some reason sad,
That something is what we call as a smile,
Nothing‘s gonna cost if you smile for a while,
A smile is like a candle,
It is really easy to handle,
It can light the world of others,
It can change the gloomy weathers,
It is a small step for compassion,
You smile when you have the passion,
One can smile to forgive,
One can smile if there's nothing to give,
One can smile to make peace,
One can smile to share a piece,
Smile is by very nature a universal language
Which can be understood by people of any age.
