A Twinkling Star


A twinkling star,
Caught me attention.
It seemed different than the others.
It couldn't by me figure out why.
I looked at it with a telescope now,
And there it disappeared.
That star of happiness did not appear.
I began to look inwards now,
And saw a little twinkle here and there.
My happiness twinkled merrily.
It was my twinkling star.

Beautiful poem. Happiness is there within us so it's no use looking for it in the outside world or in the stars.
