A Turn Of Events Poem by Franz Of Lion

A Turn Of Events

Those somber days when we're in tears and fears
I'm in need of something you couldn't give.
As it couldn't get worse, life interfered;
You pushed me away, and again I grieved.
You would always keep me at a distance
Whenever I want to be close to you.
You were afraid, and wished for my riddance.
I didn't know I was hurting you too.
I'm all prepared, but I was too selfish;
It's not the time to let go of it all.
It's not how it's supposed to end like this..
But it was all in my head, a close call...
I'm thankful for myself that I've made plans,
Thank you also for giving me this chance.
