Perfection

Sculpted by forces of fatum
Set in motion by a gentle push
From the palms of god

That our textbook marriage
Could transcend her perfection
To a wondrous infusion of mirth
Relayed by the miraculous odds
Of a faulty condom......?

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
