They honored Father Michael Judge
A man who’d given all:
A friend to the firefighters
He took to heart this call.

He was always there for them—
Day in and day out.
Always, they could call on him,
And that, without a doubt.

Father Michael Judge,
Who has laid down his sword
Has embraced the promise;
He is resting with the Lord.

He was so much a part of them.
They held him in esteem,
And threw their arms around him
As one of the team.

New York’s “Michael Judge, ”
A spiritual guide was he;
And a firefighter’s hero
He had come to be.
