L'eterna voglia di girovagare
.
Stando a fianco della nuvola vedo chiaramente
Che non sto volando via, bensì vado verso una nuova me.
La luce del sole illumina lo sporco, la vita continua sotto la pioggia:
Lo ieri immagazzina un dolore sempre più lontano
E la pioggia accoglie freschi abiti blu per il mio cuore.
Dentro il vento posso sentire il respiro profondo di un nuovo inizio
Dove quei tempi di smarrimento profondo dentro la mia mente vezzosa
Trovano riposo, senza più la paura di rimanere intrappolati e lasciati indietro.
Colline verdi, alte vette, strade acciottolate di città:
Mi sveglio libera, nessun luogo è troppo lontano, la luna a cui canto la mia canzone è dovunque la stessa.
Vado avanti, e avanti, e avanti.
Andrò avanti fino a quando verrà il mio tempo, e colui che tutti voi temete verrà da me
Per condurmi ancora più in là!
—Avrò in eterno la voglia infinita di viaggiare

Beside the cloud I can clearly see
I'm not flying away, but toward a new me.
Sunshine in the dirt, life in the rain:
Yesterday stores away a far-off distant pain
and the rain welcomes fresh blue dresses to my heart.
Within the wind I can feel the deep breath of a new start
Where those times of being lost deep inside my pretty mind
Are put to rest, no more fears of staying trapped and left behind.
Hills of green, mountains tall, city streets paved with cobblestones:
I wake free, there's no place too far, it's the same moon to whom I sing my song.
I'll go on, and on, and on.
I'll go on till time is done with me, and the man you all fear comes to me
To take me further still!
—I'll have wanderlust to eternity.
