A Time For Changes Poem by G J Salgado

A Time For Changes

This is a time to Live, not die,
A time to Laugh, not cry.
A time without hate, only Love,
It is a time for change for our city of Doves.

It is not too late for Nacrautis,
Let the trees hear our voices.
May this city be filled with hope, faith, and love,
May we bow down to no one; let Celestia and the god of the sun shine above.

Let the kiss of the summer sky,
Float on the wings of the butterfly.

I live in you and you within me,
A new life shall breathe.
All is not lost again,
For I am a new king, Nacrautis' friend.

A new world together we will discover,
The dark will not take over.
All of the lost will be found,
All of the broken will be renowned.

We will find a new life of second chances,
In this time for hope, a time for changes.

Today is forgotten,
Tomorrow is a new dawn.
The sun will burn at midnight,
Night will replace the daylight.

The truth and the light will replace the darkness,
Nacrautis will be free at once, stand up and be her witness.

I have been sent here to save her and defend,
I will fight for us all of us to the very end.

You breathe in me with every breath,
Until I look upon the face of death!
