A Thousand Poems- (In Honor Of Sandra Feldman) Poem by Eugene Levich

A Thousand Poems- (In Honor Of Sandra Feldman)

Rating: 5.0

Often
As I watch the news
Or read history
I'm sickened by Human
Barbarity and
Lack of humanity

At times
All that saves me from despair
At the disparity
Between the life beautiful
And the brutal face
Of our human race
Is poetry

A thousand poems
A thousand days
Poems filled with love and wisdom
Remind me in a thousand ways
That there remain
A thousand points of grace
Still enduring
In this human race

hers were ALL beautiful? she is not one i 'read'; i don't know why; i'm not saying i don't like her stuff; i can't even recall how many, if any, i've read from her. ok, so we now know what HER poems remind you of. but what do MINE remind you of? think carefully before you answer! CAREFUL! ! ! ! IT IS TRULY NICE that she and (i assume) a few others help you get through your days. Peace, my friend, bri :)

A Thousand Flavors. I, too, from Evil, at times seek reprieve, but .....before it came from PH's 'sleeve'... I used, instead, to find refuge in 'sweets', often my choice over veggies and meats. Ice cream: What better sweet does exist? Give me some scoops as big as my fist. And not just one. Do you think I'm a baby? A dozen or more. Twenty scoops maybe. And don't limit me in my ice cream choices. A Thousand Flavors I hear from my 'voices'. So, give me vanilla, chocolate, & srawberry, but give, as well, flavors you may think scary. Cockroach Crunch. Don't knock it just yet. Froggy Fudge. It's really tasty, you bet! You ain't lived till you eat Cactus Spine Swirl. Don't forget my favorite, Essence of Squirrel! :)) Bri
