A Thought Of Her: A Sonnet Poem by Eli MorenoDrew

A Thought Of Her: A Sonnet

Rating: 1.0

Now what can be more beautiful than her
Soft face? I’ve thought and thought about it long.
Not even fields of daffodils or song
Can measure to the light she brings I’m sure.
And why would I avoid this perfect lure?
She’d laugh and laugh like there was nothing wrong,
And yet the small attraction is so strong.
I don’t want to get in a love not pure.
But nay! There is no love that is not true!
It is not true without your trust in faith.
But I digress. She’s made my life anew.
Her lovely presence is so calm and just.
I long to hold her, keeping her so safe.

i like your writing. from what i've read so far, you have this awesome ability to make your words flow and everything just seems to fit and sound right, even when you're not rhyming. Good job, i can't wait to read more. :)
