A Tempting Temtation Poem by Dorsey Baker

A Tempting Temtation

Loud as
thunder beautiful
as spring; early as
morning sunrise.
Then sudden
erupt a kingdom
and its sea of tears; angry
and forbidden-
their fate in the unsteady
hands of a few chosen ones.
lusting without lying about-
caught stealing
a few precious moments; those
we find
in secret places of sweet enticement!
