A Teacher Fights Back Poem by Ramona Thompson

Author's note-They might be young and sometimes classified as too sexy to teach but that does not mean that they are all guilty of the crimes of which they are sometimes accused.

So think. Think before you lead another witch hunt. Maybe. Just maybe it's the student who is the guilty party for chasing after something they should have been taught from the start by a parent to never want in the first place.

Remember, teachers are not only the ones who can teach today's generation valueable lessons. It all starts at home.

Enough said.

Just because I'm young
Just because I'm beautiful
Just because you've all heard the rumors they're been spreading around
That does not mean they are true
For by no stretch of the imagination have I ever, ever led any one of them on


So back off and do it now
Cos I won't be condemned
No, not ever again
For being the object of one foolish young boy's lust
Lust which by the way this teacher did not nor would ever return for her student
