A Tangled Life Poem by Paula Glynn

A Tangled Life

Life can be messy and dirty,
It can be tough and time consuming,
No matter who you are,
People come and go:
Nothing stays the same.
There are one-hit wonders,
Others lasting years with their art,
There are sometimes angry people,
And occasionally happy people,
No two people are the same.
While some live for fame,
Others are happy to remain anonymous,
As they live their life day-to-day,
But it is not always a lonely for them,
The happy people waking with a smile,
While the depressed wear a frown,
And it is a tangled, messy life,
But it would be nice to live in order,
To not be that hoarder; to not cry,
And have some sense of belonging,
And I sense of organisation,
But with so many people in the world,
This is not always possible,
For many suffer heartbreak,
Many go home exhausted and in tears,
But tomorrow they shall push on,
In this tangled life.
