A Tale Of Two Trees Poem by Walterrean Salley

A Tale Of Two Trees

Rating: 4.2

Two trees grew in a forest.
The one was greatly towering,
Green and thriving with life.

The other was weak and beggarly,
Bent over and barren.

And one day, the one tree
Was found missing
As it laid lifeless on the ground.

But the weak and beggarly tree—
Though bent—was yet standing.
