A Tale Of Tibet In Two Poem by Rashida Mack

A Tale Of Tibet In Two

Rating: 5.0

Tibet is filled with roses,
the rolling hillside dotted pink, yellow and red,
wires covered in prickly vines adorned with bursts of color,
the air heavy with the fragrant dew of sense,
Milarepa shines.

Tibet was the place of paradise,
where the sun shined bright above the clouds,
where snow capped mountains invite traverse,
where smiling and calm faces greet the day,
Milarepa lives.

There once was a paradise called Tibet,
that remains in the hearts of the knowing,
this place shines bright in their eyes,
this place is who their soul speaks for,
Milarepa breathes.

And now,
the golden, dotted mountains and fields lay covered with snow.
