A Symbolist Pigeon Poem by East Sea Fairy Xing Yi

A Symbolist Pigeon

BY NALAN Rongruo Tr. By East Sea Fairy

I receive baptism and foster the holy spirit
that's like a symbolist pigeon,
I let it grow day by day
grow feather, and wings.

I start to enjoy
privileges lesser than that
of angels
What I say
sometimes is a piece of silver heavy
sometimes a feather wet.
