A Sure Blessing Poem by Liilia Talts Morrison

A Sure Blessing

There is a blessing
When I help

The homeless
The jobless
The limbless
The hopeless

When I reach out
They seldom
Fail to bless.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In our area there are many homeless people. Few do not say 'God bless you' when I give them a quarter or a dollar.

The Gods will bless those who help others, because you have acquired good karma by donating your hard earned money to the poor. Good!
