A Summer With Snow Poem by Jenna Marie

A Summer With Snow

Standing far apart
on two different roads
one stops as the other goes
never wanting to meet
as both already know

They are as different as
the seasons....
white and black
discrimination pays no mind
to the child that crosses the road

Holding the hand of the other
as they walk together
on the same road..
the friendship between them
is as rare as a
summer with snow....
