A Summer’s Night Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Summer’s Night

Rating: 5.0

Don’t’cha just love
A summer’s night
When the crickets chirp
And the air’s just right
There’s time to stop
At the end of the day
And pause for a moment
Take time to pray
For a better tomorrow
Help those in need
To put aside
All hate and greed
And say a prayer
For those you love
And add some thanks
To your God above

A very well penned and poignant write! I love this poem because it reminds me of the one I wrote with the same title a few years ago! Thanks for sharing and God Bless you for always! Love and Peace! ...
