A Strange Fear. Poem by Sudipta Bhattacharyya

A Strange Fear.

Each & every moment
A strange fear runs through
My every blue veins
Making me imbalanced;
Toleration has crossed its limit,
That makes every heart shuddered.
Society has killed my sleep,
Sleep, the precious Gift of God,
Has been snatched away
By those venomous Demons!
Protests stumble upon every time
Upon those Demons' feet!

I have also a daughter;
The little flower I have been nourishing with affection & love,
Cares & anxieties since her birth!

Do I have enough strength now
To protect her from the clutches
Of those bloodthirsty Demons?
For society has murdered my sleep!
