A Star Poem by Neela Nath Das

A Star

When I cast my look
at the deep blue
in the morning
or at night either,
I sense a star
like Pole Star
is watching me.
Is it the Eyes
of Lord Vishnu,
or anyone else?
My conscience
wakes me up
to find out
the truth.
No answer
has come yet
of my question
from the Earth
or from the water
fire, wind or
the blue firmament!
Not even any clue.

I read this poem. It is beautiful. Beauty is in 'no answer', so you can write this poem. One thing friend, you awake and get 'no'. And one day i will go to sleep, having a 'no'. It is usual.

It is Sirius, the Dog Star- the brightest as it is more closer to the Earth! (I know you are metaphorically referring to something else) Enjoyed!
