A Special Place Poem by Linda Harnett

A Special Place

Rating: 5.0

A cool breeze gently blows upon my face,
I watch the gentle water reach the shore,
I have no sense of distance, time or space,
Experiencing déjà vu once more,

The distant mountains dappled deepest blue,
The loch side trees stand ever, evergreen,
I watch the rolling mist come into view,
The captivating beauty of the scene,

The mist moves slowly, gently on the breeze,
And undulating clouds, they hide behind,
A scene that Mother Nature sent to please,
A place where what you seek you’ll surely find.

I have no sense of distance, time or space,
I’m lost within this very special place.
