From this moment on
I will no longer live in fear
I’m ready to lay down my life
For those I hold so dear

No matter where you send me
Could be Afghanistan or Iraq
I’m the weapon that you forged
Just tell me who to attack

Yes, for honor and for country
I’ll give up the things I love
And if I should fall in battle
I’ll watch over you from above

Don’t cry for me my love
I have an important job to do
I do this, for love of country
And for my love of you
