A Single Snowflake Poem by Paul Holmes

A Single Snowflake

Rating: 3.5

One among billions
Unique silver crystal
Floating
In a turquoise sky
Until,
Its journey ends,
Pierced upon
A green blade,
Where
It slowly melts
Depositing
A unique silver tear.

Lovely poem. Must have been a rare weather phenom to snow from a turquoise sky, though. -chuck

A lovely description of a snow flake. A pleasure to read, it really appealed to me.

Simple and beautiful! Almost like an extended haiku in its' ability to evoke feeling. Wonderfully done!
