A Single Candle Poem by David Harris

A Single Candle

Rating: 5.0

All that is needed is a single candle,
to show someone the way.
A small light to warm the heart,
with a special glow.
A single candle in the window,
to show that you are at home.
That inviting light to greet
any passing stranger there,
to say that you are welcome in this home,
whoever you may be.

A candle has a much more welcoming feeling than electricity. Soft and soothing to the eye and mind. Lovely piece. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
