A Silent Embrace Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

A Silent Embrace

The freshness of morning
Was the unique setting
For the music of birds,
With their melody, no words.

'Neath a beige pergola,
Baby's breath lined the way,
Bright tropical flora
Completed nature's bouquet.

I walked, drank the view,
Felt the warmth of the sun.
Closed my eyes and I knew
What Creation does to Man.

Amazing and it's free!
Right there before our eyes!
Yet we're lost in life's frenzy-
Too busy to realize.

It's a silent embrace,
That brings hope to our days,
Soothing our human senses
A touch of His loving grace.
