A Shin Splint Poem by RIC BASTASA

A Shin Splint

May the light of God shine upon
the Poet
who just had
a shin splint.

The shin pains

it
do not shine but shins its way
through
Chua-Shin
that little Chinese boy
whose cheeks
are read like peaches
of Guangzhou.
