A Seductive Dream Poem by Alex McCullough

A Seductive Dream

Soon this of yours silhouette will dropp down,
Quiet as these whispers of mine into your ears,
Seducing me into that art of beauty,
Which is your body.
Don't turn over yet,
Not while our frames shed one shadow,
Cause even while the night holds us together,
When that new morning breaks its light on us,
I want to meet only you when I wake.
Don't remove me from this paradise,
My heart cries out,
No matter what time of day it is,
Dusk till Dawn,
Night can't pry this fantasy from my hands,
Because even if my life were to be taken now,
I'd still hold you in these eyes of mine.
I could never say goodbye,
Nor do I ever wanna hear,
Those words which could break this all apart,
Into fragments of desire.
Cause the way you are now,
Has seduced me to come back for more,
Whether it be love or lust,
I just need you in my arms.
Keep heading towards what's before you,
Whether it be good or bad,
Cause can't nothing be a worst or better,
Then having stolen my soul with your ways.
Galloping to wherever,
I'll ride to the ends of the world,
Just to be by your side,
Similar to how we are at this moment.
