A Seascape Poem by Sharlie Goddard

A Seascape

A splash of exuberant colour
Chasing thoughts around a page
Rounded swirls
Chaotically whipping up the waves
Of sun set and sun rise,
Heading off into the vanishing point.
A coma sail hold my eye for a moment and then it’s off
Rolling with bilious movement
Up and down,
North and south,
Following paint strokes round and around
Until I finally see
Opening before me
Its ultimate tranquillity.
